Liturgy/Spirituality Commission
Assist in developing plans, policies and religious experiences
in the area of liturgical/spiritual growth and development.
Adult members of the parish are welcome. Meeting: one Monday evening, monthly
7:00 p.m. in rectory.
Social Concerns Commission
Caring for and supporting Human Life in all its stages, working
for justice.
Maintenance Commission
Maintain clean, safe, and attractive facilities for Christian
worship, education, and community activities. Maintenance
skills and experience are necessary.
Community Life Commission
Strengthening the family life and needs of our Parish community.
Greeters
Be a welcoming presence to all those who come into our Church
for liturgical celebrations, especially guests, strangers
and new parishioners. High School age and up are welcome.
Parish School
Our parish school is Lakewood Catholic Academy, located at
14808 Lake Ave, The school offers a faith-based education
to children from preschool through eighth grades.

Pre-Cana Team
Provide opportunities for engaged couples to discuss various
aspects of marriage, helping them to gain greater insight
into and understanding of the Sacrament of Marriage Team formation
usually Sunday evenings January - March. One Pre- Cana Day
(all day).
Couple to Couple
Aid in preparation for marriage on a one to one basis. Couples
meet at least 3 times before marriage. Appointments only.
Adoration Chapel
Offer praise, adoration and thanksgiving to God in quiet atmosphere.
All are welcome. Open Wednesday and Thursday 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m..
Located next to garages behind the Church. A regular hour
is encouraged.
Rosary
Share with others in meditating on the mysteries of Jesus’
life while praying the rosary. All are welcome. After 8:00
a.m. weekday liturgy.
Bible Share
Read and share together the Word of the Lord as it affects
our daily lives. All are welcome. Thursdays 10:45 - 11:45
a.m.
St. Vincent DePaul Society
Proclaim Christ’s message of love through acts of charity
to the needy. Anyone is welcome to join. Meeting: every other
Wednesday 7:15 p.m.
Bereavement Ministry
Help console and encourage members of the community in times
of loss. Also for those who have suffered any loss. All are
welcome to join and offer their support, send cards, attend
wakes and/or funerals.
Senior Clementines & Friends
The Senior Clementines & Friends began in January 2007.
Members include, but are not limited to, older adults from the
Lakewood-Cleveland Cluster of Parishes including: St. Clement,
Ss. Cyril & Methodius, St. Hedwig, St. James, St. Luke,
and St. Rose of Lima. Meetings are held at St. Clement Parish,
Winters Hall (elevator accessible) on the 2nd Thursday of
each month, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Programs include speakers on
pertinent topics, a wide variety of entertainment, and always
an opportunity to share refreshments and conversation with one
another. Dues are $5.00 per year. All older adults are welcome.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
As an outreach effort of the Senior Clementines & Friends,
a number of members have become a part of the Prayer Shawl
Ministry. This is a nationally recognized ministry that
encourages members to crochet or knit shawls for homebound or
hospitalized parish members, and to intentionally pray for the
future recipient of the shawl. If you are interested in
participating in this ministry, please call Sr. Kathy Thomas for
further information.

Finance Council
Plan and budget the financial needs of the parish.
Members with skills in finance, law and administration are
appointed by the pastor.

Eucharistic Ministers
Assist with distribution of Eucharist at Liturgy and to confined
parishioners. Practicing Catholics, 18 and older may apply.
Attend one diocesan training session.
Lectors
Proclaim God's Word at weekend and
daily liturgy in a dignified and eloquent manner.
Practicing Catholics, high school and older may
apply. Training session.
Ushers
Maintain a welcoming and helpful environment in liturgical
elebrations; Assist with the Offertory collection and distribution
of bulletins. Adults 18 and over are welcome.
Music Ministry
Adult Choir
Praise the Lord in song at the 9:00 a.m. Liturgy and on special
occasions. Singers and instrumentalists high school age and
up. Rehearsals on Thursday, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the choir loft.
Men’s Choir
Sings at mass approximately once per month. Open to all men high-school-aged and above.
Rehearsals alternately on Saturdays 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and Sundays 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. in the choir loft.
Children’s Choir
Praise the Lord in song on special occasions. Open to all
students grades 3 through 8. Rehearsals on Thursday, 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. in the choir loft.
Bereavement Choir
Blend your voice with others at funeral liturgies as a gift
to the bereaved.
Servers
Assist at daily and Sunday Mass and weddings. Open to 4th
grade - adult.
Family P.S.R.
Teach religion to children at home and come together as families
to share faith ideas and prayer.
Families with school aged children welcome. Meet every other
Monday 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. during school year.
RCIC
Support, encourage, sponsor, accompany children and teens
as they prepare for Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. Children
and teens are welcome to minister as a part of the team. Call
the PSR Office.
RCIA
Support and encourage adults who are preparing (or discerning)
to receive the Sacraments of Initiation. Meet weekly on Wednesday.
September to April, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Meet monthly May to August.
Sponsor and support persons welcome.
Voice for Life
Support the pro-life movement, working specifically to promote
the rights of the unborn. All are welcome.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
Children gather in their own group to Iisten to and discuss
the Sunday readings during the 9:00 a.m. Mass.
Children 5 years thru First Communion. Adult leaders are welcome.
Hospitality
Assist with refreshments and greeting at parish social
functions. All volunteers are welcome.
Communications
The parish seeks to communicate with its parishioners through
the weekly bulletin, monthly newsletter, and web site.
AA Gratitude Group
Experience support of others who suffer or have suffered addictions.
Fridays 7:00 p.m. in the Church Hall.
