Objectives

  1. Engage in faith conversation with practicing and non-practicing Catholics.
    1. Provide open and non-threatening events for people to gather.
    2. Say hello.
    3. Provide concrete experiences of Sacred Tradition and Sacred Scripture.
  2. Monitor parish enrolment.
    1. Form a welcoming committee – to follow-up.
    2. Provide information on the parish/school/P.S.R. in a “Welcome Packet”.
    3. Conduct a Census
  3. Use effective media to share the Catholic faith and Catholic events with the parish and broader community.
    1. Use the Website, email, bulletin, bulletin boards, and announcements effectively.
    2. Provide accessible materials that people can take with them. Maintain effective use/placement of the book rack.
  4. Provide available sound resources for people looking for information.
  5. Invite the neighborhood.
