Faith formation begins at home with parents. How they live the Gospel message, how they pray and worship God are essential elements in the development of the Faith of their children.

In fact, this development began when the parents brought the child to church to be baptized and took on the responsibility of being the role models of Faith for their children.

There is no subsitute for the parents' living Faith. The parish, PSR, the day school are there to aid the parents. Never can they replace the parents in the development of Faith. They can help - but never can they replace.
